Warranty Policy

Before installing the turbocharger, please ensure you have read and understand this warranty statement.

Installation of the turbocharger constitutes acceptance of all warranty terms listed below.

Turbochargers are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from invoice date.  This warranty does not extend beyond any item(s) supplied, serviced, repaired, or remanufactured by Revolution Turbochargers.

During this time, Revolution Turbochargers will repair or replace any product that proves to be defective.  Failure due to improper installation, abuse, poor maintenance, misuse or accidental damage shall be denied.  Revolution Turbochargers shall be the sole adjudicator, acting reasonably and in accordance with standard industry failure analysis practices.  Such determination shall be final and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law.

This warranty shall only extend to the original end user.

In no event shall the total liability of Revolution Turbochargers, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, exceed the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim, as indicated on the original invoice.

The warranty is voided if the turbocharger is used for competition purposes, installed on modified vehicles, or used in any application running outside of manufacturer specifications.  The turbocharger and all components must be maintained in accordance with OEM specified maintenance practices.

Failure to install new oil feed lines and oil filters in conjunction with turbocharger installation will void this warranty.  Proof of replacement must be provided for warranty consideration.

When replacing Variable Geometry turbochargers, the electronic actuator should also be replaced to prevent premature turbocharger failure. Failure to replace the actuator may void the warranty of the turbocharger, if the actuator is determined to have contributed to the turbocharger failure.

Warranty for Variable Geometry turbochargers sold with the electronic actuator installed and calibrated will be considered void if the electronic actuator is removed, disassembled, or altered in any way by persons who are not authorized representatives of Revolution Turbochargers.

Warranty is limited to repair or replacement by Revolution Turbochargers at their exclusive option.  Warranty is considered voided in case of damage or malfunction due to improper storage or installation, misuse, neglect, disassembly or alteration by any persons who are not authorized representatives of Revolution Turbochargers, or external physical damage.  Warranty does not apply where failure is caused by conditions external to the turbocharger.  These include but are not limited to: insufficient oil pressure, foreign object damage, debris or other oil contamination, use of improper fluids or filters, overheating, or operating above manufacturer specified boost pressures.  There is no guarantee of performance, efficiency, or service life beyond defects in material and workmanship.

All units returned for warranty consideration must have the original Turbocharger Identification Tag affixed and be accompanied by proof of purchase.  The customer is responsible for providing written notice of the nature of the defect to Revolution Turbochargers, along with adequate means for operating and testing.  The customer shall allow a reasonable amount of time to inspect and remedy any defects.

Revolution Turbochargers does not cover damaged, lost, or stolen packages or shipments being transported to or from the customer.  The customer is responsible for adequately insuring shipments.

Turbochargers should only be installed by certified and trained professionals in a properly tooled facility.  Proof of installation by qualified technicians may be required for warranty consideration.

While a warranty claim is under review, the buyer will be responsible for all costs, replacement parts, and labor relating to the removal and replacement of the turbocharger.

Upon approval of a warranty claim, and depending on the determined mode of failure, labor costs will be considered for the removal and replacement, at an hourly rate of $100 per hour, up to 15 hours.

Revolution Turbochargers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, loss of production, downtime, loss of profits, injuries, loss of income, or travel costs.  This exclusion applies regardless of the cause of loss, including negligence, breach of contract, or any other legal theory.

Revolution Turbochargers is not responsible for charges incurred for another company to remove, inspect, or transport a turbocharger.  If the purchaser replaces the product from Revolution Turbochargers with another product from another manufacturer, this warranty is null and void and all claims for remuneration will be rejected.

This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta.

This statement represents the complete and exclusive warranty offered by Revolution Turbochargers on manufactured or remanufactured turbochargers and related products, and is in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.  No individual is authorized to bind Revolution Turbochargers to any warranty not expressly set forth herein.  No representations or warranties, whether written or oral, shall modify or expand this warranty unless expressly agreed in writing by Revolution Turbochargers.
